Jessica Stroup stars as Silver, an outspoken free spirit, on The CW drama “90210.”
Stroup left her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, at age 17 for Los Angeles, where she immediately began working as a model and actress. She has quickly established herself as a highly sought-after young actress in both film and television.
Stroup was recently seen in the Universal comedy “Ted” with Seth McFarlane, Mark Whalberg, and Mila Kunis. Her film credits include starring opposite Brittany Snow in the horror remake “Prom Night.” The film was a hit and earned a No. 1 spot at the box office with a $20 million opening, an upper tier debut for the genre.
Stroup also starred as the female lead in “The Hills Have Eyes II.” Her additional feature credits include “The Informers,” with Billy Bob Thornton and Winona Ryder; “Homecoming,” with Mischa Barton; “This Christmas,” alongside Chris Brown and Mekhi Phifer; “Broken” and “School for Scoundrels.”
Stroup’s television credits include guest starring roles on “True Blood,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “October Road.” She was also seen in a recurring role on The CW comedy “Reaper” as Cady, Satan’s daughter.
She current lives in Los Angeles.
