Michael Trevino plays Tyler Lockwood, Mystic Falls’ star athlete-turned-werewolf-turned hybrid on The CW’s hit drama “The Vampire Diaries.”

Already a familiar face to television audiences, Trevino was a series regular on “Cane,” and has recurring roles on “90210” and “The Riches.” He has had many guest starring roles on series such as “CSI: NY,” “Bones,” “Cold Case,” “Without a Trace,” “Commander In Chief,” “Summerland” and “Charmed.” He also had a leading role in The Disney Channel’s “Cow Belles.”

In 2011 and 2012, Trevino won the Teen Choice Awards for “Choice TV Male Scene Stealer” for his work on “The Vampire Diaries.” He was also nominated for an ALMA Award in both 2011 and 2012..

Born and raised in Valencia, California, Trevino divides his time between Los Angeles, California, and Atlanta, Georgia, where “The Vampire Diaries” films.
