Add A Widget to Facebook
In order to add the Widget (or any other extra HTML) to a Facebook profile, you must first add an HTML box, available at http://apps.facebook.com/html_box/.

Open the page in a new window, leaving the widgets page open. Once you have selected your desired options, click the "Add Box of HTML" button.

This will take you to your profile, where you will see a new box marked "Box of HTML" and the message "Your code will go here!"

Under "Applications" in the left hand menu, you should see "Box of HTML." Click this link, which takes you to a new page, with the message "Click here to edit your code!" Go ahead and click.

On this new page, you will see a field marked "Update Your Code."

Now, to get the code. If you left the CW widgets page open, on the widget you want, click "Get Widget," then "Copy Facebook Code to Clipboard."

Almost there.

Now you can paste that code into the "Update Your Code" field at Facebook. You can use Ctrl+V on a PC, or Apple+V on a Mac. Click the button marked "Update."

When you return to your profile, you will see the widget on your page. You may need to drag the box into the right hand, wider column, so that the widget can fit. You will also see a small triangle. If the triangle is not pointing downward, the box is closed, and you will not be able to see the widget.
